AgReserves, Inc. Essay Contest

Each year AgReserves, Inc. (ARI) invites a few students interested in animal production careers for a tour of one their cattle operations.  The purpose of these tours is to acquaint students with career opportunities at ARI and to become mutually acquainted with possible candidates for internships.  During these student tours, ARI pays airfare, meals, lodging and transportation for those students participating.

This year’s tour will be at Deseret Cattle and Citrus in central Florida and will be held on February 25-26, 2010.  Students must be majoring in Agriculture and be a junior (60+ credits).  If you are interested in applying for this opportunity must write a 2-3 page essay indicating why they would like to participate in this tour and what their career goals are, and submit a resume.

The essay and resume needs to be turned in to Tami Spackman (AG SCI 252) no later than Friday, December 4, 2009.  Essays and resumes will then be forwarded to AgReserves.  ARI will make the final decision on whom to invite.
